This is a fantastic example of a pool renovation completed by Abascal Pools. The original pool, built in the 1980s, was lackluster and showing its age. The pool deck was outdated, stamped concrete in various stages of disrepair.
Without changing the footprint, Abascal Pools was able to completely transform the look and feel of this slender poolscape into something clean, modern and sophisticated.
Most modern designs include a swim spa integrated into the main body of the pool. It provides a cleaner look and also allows for easy conversation with people in the main pool.
Abascal Pools was able to retrofit the existing pool with an upgraded circulation and filtration system. Advances in pool engineering, including improved pool plumbing designs, help to minimize pool maintenance.
After stripping the pool of its original white plaster, a premium, black PebbleTec finish was applied that gives the water such deep coloration.
Stone pool coping offers not only timeless beauty, but also an extremely durable finish. This granite surface is some of the hardest stone on the planet and is virtually indescructible.
Natural grass surrounds the pool on three sides and provides the quintessential (and authentic!) garden pool look. Equally noteworthy is the feel of natural grass on bare feet.
A large, underwater seat ledge transitions into a shallow tanning ledge, which in turn blends seamlessly into the spa section. All of these horizontal surfaces are covered with the same, durable tile that matches the pool's aggregate finish.
